  2. It's another attempt at visualizing funnels.

What I ultimately want to get is this: http://imm.io/Is2h

Is it possible with highcharts or does someone know the library that does this?

  3. It would be great if you could add mean/averages or another range to each column range entry. i.e. similar to stockchart candlesticks but for categories instead of date ranges. Or is this already available?

  4. When I click and drag a graph to zoom in, the bounding box created by the drag is blue. It would be great if we could change the color of that box.

  5. I have a datetime x-axis. Right now, my graph is automatically turning it into a weekly view, but it only shows the dates on the x-axis every 7 days. It would be great if I could force it to 'day' instead of 'week' view so that I can see every date on the axis, or change it so that every day of the week shows up.

  7. When dragging the scroller across a chart, the chart only repositions when you finish dragging. The chart should scroll in real time as you drag. eg as per Metastock.

  8. I want annotation (flag marking events) on Highchart line graphs.

    eg: http://www.highcharts.com/stock/demo/flags-general
    - This demo is on highstock graphs
    - I want same functionality on Highchart graphs.

  9. Add a parallel coordinates chart. For example: http://exposedata.com/parallel/

    or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parallel_coordinates

This would allow for quicker analysis of data typically found in tables.

  10. I have some control systems that are on/off, and some others that have a discrete set of values. And time of data is irregular, of course.
It is interesting to plot them on the same graph that what they act on (temperature, hygrometry...) but using area is not suitable for that.
The area should be horizontal until the next value, and switch from a value to another verticaly.
It is something that is similar to columns, but with area rendering aspect.

    Thanks.

  11. Buy / Sell Indicators:
    1) Moving average curve by adopting historical close price (say moving average of past 10 / 20/ 50 / 100 /250 trading days, i.e. days with trade) and the curve should be plotted as a smooth curve instead of ladder-like flat cuve;
    2) RSI (relatvie strength index to show oversold or overbought)
    3) MACD, etc.

  13. It would be nice if you could add the unit to the highest value only, so you don't need a text for the axis. E.g. a y-axis in millions of €'s would show 0-5-10-€15 million.

  14. A legend need not to be in a small box tucked into the corner of the chart. Direct labeling allows a reader to identify the lines quickly and focus on comparing and contrasting the patterns.

TIP: read the book 'The Wall Street Journal - Guide to Information Graphics' by Dona M. Wong. Has an interesting point on 3D charts!

  15. Lots of pie charts have the percentage value next to the name in the legend. Today you can only get the name and y-value in the legend's labelFormatter. It would be really great if you could add percentage as well, like the tooltip's formatter.

  17. It would be nice to have an option to disable tooltip animation. On IE8 and less (we are still required to support these browsers!), the javascript engine is so slow that the tooltips don't animation nicely anyway. Also, there are bugs that can cause IE render problems when the tooltips animate. See http://www.tehuber.com/article.php?story=20120424082911788 for more information.

  19. Hi,

If the flags are really close together it is difficult even when zoomed in to navigate flags that are very close together, e.g. just a few minutes apart on a date-time x-axis.

Could there be a new setting to set the 'stackingRadius' in milliseconds if the x-axis is date-time, whereby flags would be stacked if they are within range.

  20. Since the datetime in a timeseries is stored as milliseconds, please allow the tick intervals to be formatted to show in milliseconds. I have a scientific application where tests are run and data points are collected at that level of fidelity.

    Thanks!
