I don't quite understand what do you need. Volume profile, by definition, is auto calculated as histogram data for buy/sell at specified price range.

I need to create Volume by Price chart as shown on http://stockcharts.com/school/doku.php?id=chart_school:technical_indicators:volume_by_price which is a combination of horizontal bars and lines where series type bars have vertical x-axis and series type line have horizontal x-axis.

Yes, I think the data needs to be calculated each time when the time range changes.

I hope to add combination of the candlestick and horizontal bar (price volume). It helps customer to understand the volume distribution on different price. It is very useful especially on stock market analysis.
