    Thanks for you help Torstein. I tried putting that snippet in the usual place (where it worked for my line charts) in a few of my bar/column charts and it doesn't want to work (even in chrome and FF). Here's a fiddle: http://jsfiddle.net/Ha3Wr/7/ (the relevant bit is toward the bottom). If you don't mind looking at it. Thanks for your help.

    This is great! Is there a way to modify Vitor's code so it works with column/bar charts? I tried changing "stroke" to "fill" but I guess I'm missing something. Thanks.
