renderTo container for legend
Add optional render container for legend, in this case we can make floating and other things on legend

The ability to collapse/expand the legend area, selectable on click or hover, and combined with scrollable (max-height/max-width) legend box, with some available events.. would be stellar.
This could accomplish that functionality.
