Simple timeline charts
A simple timeline chart that can plot a project from start date to end date with mile-stones. Milestones are specific images over-layed on the plot line. This is almost a very high level gantt that does not have linkage between tasks.

Timeline series is available in Highcharts since version 7.1.0.

this could start a new "High" family, like HighProjects: I tryed to evaluate (very very basically, I worked very very little with highcharts, and JS is not one of my strongest skills...) a merge with "highstock" for timeline, and "highcharts" bubble representation for milestones; each series in a row of milestones.
Nice to have the baseline representation (this could be done with a "double series near each other); to have a sort of command area in which select and deselect groups of series (think about sets of projects with the same area);To have the possibility to select only one of these series; nice to have a graphical differentiation beetween MLS of high importance and MLS with low importance; nice to have a graphical representation of rescheduled milestones; nice to have an info-utility which could express in a particular area some information (at project level, at MLS level, at team level, ...)... perhaps something about will appear in the next Gantt charts Q1 2014? regards
