Hi,
this is good feedback Steven! We have discussed your input on disabling chart duplication. This is going to get implemented.
If you would create a separate uservoice suggestion for this we can keep you posted there!
Thanks again!

Hi Steven,
You made some good points and I agree with you that we should provide for paying customers the ability to disable the option to duplicate a chart. Perhaps we should set this as a default setting.

And at the same time, please also remove ability for others to Edit our charts (I just noticed in the 'chart menu'), especially for paid accounts!
If I decide to pay the fairly steep $15 monthly fee for the option to add my own credit link to a chart that I've taken days or weeks of gathering information to create, I'd like to keep control of that credit link when someone embeds my chart on their site.
Someone shouldn’t be allowed to so easily go into the settings of my chart and have access to my cvs data and republish it as their own, with their own credit link (or duplicate our chart).
Basically, our charts and data we work so hard to compile shouldn't be treated like public domain. I think both non-paying and paying users would agree with me on this.
On the same note we should be able to decide exactly which sharing/ downloading options we allow or disallow. I personally would like to ONLY allow embeds so that I can get the credit link I deserve and pay a monthly fee for.
To be crystal clear, just like HighCharts wants backlinks to it's site as compensation for it's "free plan” charts. If I pay the monthly fee of $15 and put labor into a chart, I too would like to benefit from backlink credits if someone wants to embed my work, which, yes, embedding 100% should be an option on the 'chart's menu'.
Thanks for considering my thoughts!
