On Stockcharts
When dragging the scroller across a chart, the chart only repositions when you finish dragging. The chart should scroll in real time as you drag. eg as per Metastock.

Mountain visualization
I would like to use Highcharts to render such chart: http://alumni.media.mit.edu/~fviegas/projects/mountain/
Is this possible? So that data would tell from when to when a particular value is active, and then it would be stacked together in this way?
2 votesThis is a stacked area chart. Each thin line (stratum) is represented by a series.
PS: If you have raw data for this, I can help you set up a sample.

Option for line for spline charts to be dashes
Is it possible to set a PlotOption or Series to have a dash option. I know nothing about SVG markup but after 5 minuets of googling I found the stroke-dasharray attribute is the only thing is needed for path elements.

timeseries interval preselects
when rendering timeseries is very common to have some predefined options like : lastweek/week, lastmonth/month, last_year/year and a subgraph with a slider with an interval selector. [Fix] Webkit: event.layerX and event.layerY legacy Warning
Since Chrome Update 16 the Console is spammed with warnings while hovering over the chart container:
"event.layerX and event.layerY are broken and deprecated in WebKit. They will be removed from the engine in the near future."
4369 console-logs in 12 seconds analyzing the data in the chart.

Add the ability to remove weekends from a timeline chart
Most financial charts are only interested in what happens mon - fri and weekends are normally dead data on a timeline and can distort a trend chart.

Support multiple plot areas

HighStock chart is not reflects the data related to type column. Like it is reflecting for highcharts for type column, by doing addseries() method.

About highstock Y axis values. Can we move a bit left from actual start of points. Cause it gets over the values so we cant see the exact values

Flags Marker Event, the flag can click and callback to Javascript function
